Ideas can be the most foolish. The most important thing is that they will begin to be born inside you. You are at the starting point. No convictions. No experience. No barriers. And most importantly – no word "no." This word is one of the most valuable words in life. It saves us from awkward and dangerous situations, from overeating and from going to a concert of a favorite band in a terrible rainstorm at night. But this word hinders creativity. It restricts you. It gives you a form. The form of a square. Everything in the form of a square is an artificial restriction.
Malevich's Black Square has become an icon of limitation. At the same time, it shows that everything else around it, that is not on this canvas, is limitless and should not be restricted. If you're still lying on the floor, you're probably in a square or rectangular room. Would you like your house to have rooms of different shapes? Quirky windows, curved walls. What about living under the open sky? This is a natural human desire for nature, for a state without limitations. Meanwhile, the perfect board, the classroom, the sheet of paper, the yard, the zoo, the pool, the phone screen, the office, all rectangles. There are no barriers to coming up with ideas. Don't hold back in your creativity. Later, you can sort out the best ideas, but for now, remember – there are no upper limits to your creativity.
So, Quit Boring Job, or QBJ - is a pack of thoughts and practices to help you unleash your inner creator and adapt ever changing life before you jump off the bridge after yet another office day (remember, I hate spreadsheet).
